Step 1: Remove the laces Start by removing the laces from your running shoes. This will allow you to clean every part of the shoe and make it easier to reach all the nooks and crannies.

Step 2: Brush off excess dirt Using a soft-bristled brush, gently brush off any excess dirt or mud from the surface of your running shoes. Be sure to brush in all directions, including back and forth and in circles, to remove as much dirt as possible.
